For Florida Power & Light (FP&L) and their sister company, Florida Renewable Partners (FRP), Enviro-Tech Systems, Inc. (ETS) performed the earthwork and site work to prepare for new solar energy facilities in six separate locations throughout Florida.

    For Florida Power & Light (FP&L) and their sister company, Florida Renewable Partners (FRP), Enviro-Tech Systems, Inc. (ETS) performed the earthwork and site work to prepare for new solar energy facilities in six separate locations throughout Florida. The project sites included Monarch (Indiantown), Caloosahatchee (Clewiston), Orchard (Fort Pierce), Tupelo (San Mateo), Story Bend (St. Cloud), and Harmony (St. Cloud). For each project, ETS

    • Mowed, cleared, and grubbed the project sites,
    • Installed laydown and staging areas as well as office and parking areas,
    • Constructed internal roads and turnarounds,
    • Excavated stormwater basin retention areas,
    • Built culvert crossings,
    • Installed new and replaced failing culverts,
    • Backfilled cow ponds,
    • Reworked existing drainage pipes and swales,
    • Removed pump stations and concrete pads,
    • Graded PV array areas,
    • Installed inverter pads and finish rock,
    • Constructed substation pads,
    • Maintained internal roads during construction, and
    • Performed maintenance mowing and dust control.
