For Florida Power & Light (FP&L) and its sister company, Florida Renewable Partners (FRP), Enviro-Tech Systems, Inc. (ETS) performed the earthwork and site work needed to prepare new solar energy facilities in six separate locations throughout Florida.
Six Solar Facility Sites
The project sites included Monarch in Indiantown, Caloosahatchee in Clewiston, Orchard in Fort Pierce, Tupelo in San Mateo, Story Bend in St. Cloud, and Harmony in St. Cloud.
Complete Site Development Scope
For each project, ETS mowed, cleared, and grubbed the site; installed laydown, staging, office, and parking areas; constructed internal roads and turnarounds; excavated stormwater basin retention areas; built culvert crossings; installed new and replaced failing culverts; backfilled cow ponds; reworked existing drainage pipes and swales; removed pump stations and concrete pads; graded PV array areas; installed inverter pads and finish rock; constructed substation pads; maintained internal roads during construction; and performed maintenance mowing and dust control.
